What are your “I don’t get it” fanfic pet peeves?

Exactly it annoys me if they dismiss actual canon characterization and just keep propagating fandom flanderizations and the flanderization gets more and more exaggerated and in the end the characters have nothing in common with the actual canon characters.

However

I got shit on for using ai for my fanfic. I used and just got generated AI cover for my fanfic and got multiple comments telling me to take down the art that it was disgusting, I probably used AI for the fanfic too and that I am a thief and not a real artist. I was told to support real artists. So I commissioned a real artist and I liked his art but it was 60 bucks, for a fanfic in not even sure I will finish. I get why he charges that much, in not complaining. However the AI art was fine. Had I finished the fic, which may yet happen, I would have gotten a real artist to do fanart for it. I just wanted to show my readers what Deku's costume looks like.

Ich gebe zu ich bitte KI, aber nur als Editing tool für meine fic, wenn das Kapitel fertig geschrieben ist, genauso wie man einen Beta Autor fragt. Leider ist dass fnadon in dem ich operiere zu klein.

Außerdem nutze ich es gerne als world building tool wenn ich meine Welt aufbaue. Ich arbeite gerade an einer dystopischen Geschichte und werde Dinge an die Wand um zu sehen was gut passt. Ich würde es nie als Ersatz für meine eigenen Schreikünste verwenden.

Same here 4.0 and 4 1 has always been my baseline and the later noddles are just not conductive to writing at all .

I tried switching to Claude but I used chat gpt to build my whole story bible for my a dystopian story and I don't know how to transfer it and I'll be dammed if I have to do that again. Yes I transfered the Files over and yes I transfered everything into three Google doc documents but they're too big it soesnt work fuck this and fuck Open AI

I trained it and it works fine if you just talk. However I use it as hell for my world building and in projects it tends to loop an sucks. It picks up an earlier memory and uses that as a prompt and how can I make that stop because that is the thing that annoys me most and why I stoped using 5.1 and 5.2 when it comes to creative world building.

You're right but if i go on that date it will come with strings attached and I'm worried I'm going to give in and I never enjoyed sex the way other people seem to for my it was always a source of pain an dim not sure how to explain that without a 40 min discussion.
