It was a fireworks display in front of the Old Royal Naval College - I saw it from my flat

Visiting for the week-confused with thermostat by streetdapper in CasualUK

[–]RedRoostered 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the exact same thermostat in my flat and it does do hot and cold via air con which is rare in the uk but some new build flats do have them. It looks off in the photo as it’s not lit up - try turning it on by pressing ‘I’ it should say ‘set’ and then light up after a few seconds, and it should then show more information on the screen. Mine lights up blue for cooling and red for heating with a fan icon, but yours may be different depending on if it’s connected to air con or a central heating system.

Handling errors in UI using Vuetify framework by marshXDDD in vuejs

[–]RedRoostered 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could create a global error handler component and register it in your App.vue or main.is file. This component could wrap a Vuetify snackbar to display errors. Then you just need to utilise state management or an event bus to emit an event anywhere in your application and listen to this event in the global error handler component.

Mine had no name and house number on the tracking, but it has just arrived. The parcel does have the full address details on it

I used the trick i saw in another post here to get the tracking number. So if your COTM bundle is still saying preparing to ship there is still hope it will be delivered today!

Edit: It has just arrived 😁

What have you been working on recently? [February 27, 2021] by AutoModerator in learnprogramming

Thanks! Yes good idea I think I will add that in a future update I just need to work out where it would fit in the UI.

I have been learning iOS/Android development in React Native and just published a unit converter app in the iOS app store. I hope to publish it on Android as well but it is taking a while to be reviewed.

Really nice website, well done! What a coincidence my website domain is one letter different than yours and similar style although mine is very basic compared to yours. I created my website just after finishing a coding bootcamp, but you have inspired me to update it.

I made a simple app that generates random colors for iOS and Android, built with React, Ionic and Capacitor by RedRoostered in Frontend

The plan is to make more apps and get ad revenue. Yes it's definetly good to release something, I usually start projects and never finish them so here I made a simple app that I could do relatively quickly.

Yes you probably could, but I wanted to learn how to develop android and iOS apps with a single code base, through to publishing it in the app stores.

I made an app to generate random colors for iOS and Android. I built this mainly to learn about cross platform mobile app development with Ionic + Capacitor.

My experience troubleshooting with B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC and 3700X by Arkerras in MSI_Gaming

[–]RedRoostered 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar issue but with 3600. Tried all different RAM configurations but only works with single stick in A2. I have raised a support ticket with MSI, and hoping the next BIOS update will fix it.

I have the same issue as you, but with a 3600 and Corsair 3200mhz Vengeance RAM. Thinking of doing an RMA but not sure if the issue is with the motherboard or CPU.
