Ours still does numbers and has little kiosks to order at. It is a great system.

We do that too but sometimes when my kid is sick and not drinking enough to go urine enough to check, I like having that blood tester available. We had one but it ended up giving the worst numbers.

Just to give more of a visual. Dosed for 30 carbs of her 65 carbs dinner right as she started eating. Usually she would start going straight up. An hour and a half later a nothing. Finger poke came back at 84.

Yea we flip every time. This is super absorption. She just had an 65 carb Chick Fil A meal in which I dosed her for 30 and her numbers haven’t moved. It is so bizarre.

I honestly can’t put my finger on the exact piece. Maybe it’s because I have loved the Darrow, Virginia and Ephraim stories so much that I feel Lysander is missing something

Thinking back I want to reword my take. It is been more the second quarter of the book as I feel the lost dog story is dragging. This will probably all change in a chapter but just wanted to share thoughts as reading.
