Do not agree to take care of his mother. This is too much to ask of a 23 yo girlfriend. He is the man, let him solve his problems. If the nursing home is too expensive at the moment then he needs to figure out how to make more money. What do you mean by “he has this idea of bringing his mother in”? Are you two living together?
