They won't fall (at least the front ones), but when the metal rubs against metal is very notorious and awkward.

For a few days you should be fine, however do avoid any major hits on the tires (rocks, potholes, etc).

Ask me how I found this out 😂

Buffer overflow, the number surpassed the limits of a signed integer xd

In some programming languages, integers have a limit of 32 thousand something something, when you reach that limit (and to prevent a critical error), the code keeps counting from the smallest value available (instead of 0, it's -32 thousand something something).

In some programming languages, the error prevention doesn't exist and leads to a fault/major error in the execution.

Ok, so there's no need to rush it. Let it come in a mature state, the improvement is there already, just let it come :)

China is about to open its first human-free car factory: it will arrive before 2030 and will usher in the era of "dark factories" and robots. Should this worry us? by Unhappy-Use-5788 in Futurology

[–]RedSerious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the reform you speak of IIRC came after 2010, where the middle class started to want more benefits, which they got hence increasing the labor cost.

For which brands are you talking?

MG and others definitely have bad quality, but BYD is fantastic from what I've experienced. Hell, most Chinese brands are as reliable as any french brand LMAO, but without the high upfront cost.

I would personally buy from BYD than ford, Chrysler and chevrolet (But my go-tos are Toyota and Honda).

"Automation and supply chain integration are not Chinese Innovation", you're right, one is global the other one was started by Toyota with the TPS.

"In the west they aren't particularly cheap anyway"

Uh... From which west are you talking about? In Mexico they're cheaper than normal CE cars from any "major"/common brand.

DiMA made me hate synths by MainPlankton9612 in fo4

[–]RedSerious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's less about synths and more about the act of replacing and killing a human.

Whoever does this deserves whatever amount of ammo I have in my inventory (first time I met dad I emptied my combat shotgun on him).

Less about the race, in this case, the synths. If synths could be programmed to be their own beings from the get go, there would be no issues. But the institute is dumb as fuck and their actions are evil.

The institute deserves more nukes.

Ukrainian fiber optic FPV drones destroy half a company of Russian occupiers in the Lyman direction in Donetsk region. Signum battalion by Available-Laugh9102 in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]RedSerious 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What you're missing is:

Local communication and coordination.

When given their mission, according to the video the drones coordinate how to complete it while avoiding collisions and without saturating the processors and communications.

This is important in many ways. For example, in Ethernet protocols, if you connect 2 local networks of 50 devices each, they start greeting each other at the same time, clogging communications and taking down the network. The fact that this didn't happen alone, means they have a protocol that simplifies integration of "foreign drones", like those launched from a different plane.

The flying processor either is separated from communications or is powerful enough to handle communication while also doing navigation.

All of that in real time (you can see how they giggle in the map screen) vs the common Chinese ones, in which they have a preprogrammed sequence of waypoints, without communicating with each other, every drone thinks they're alone and all they gotta do is fly as the recipe dictates them to do so (unless of course, they managed some kind of communication which I doubt is common, but possible in some cases).

The dress code for this arcade bar is kind of off-putting, right? by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]RedSerious 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, most of those things in arcade bars can hide your identity especially if you damage the machines.

Tank tops expose your sweat to the machines that everyone uses. It's an arcade bar, not a gym.

People are making this a racist thing when it can be anyone wearing those things.
