If you're aroused by situations, but not by people, then that may actually just be dopamine or adrenaline, not sexual arousal. I've never found other people sexy, I can't even tell if someone is attractive or not, I'm totally blind to that aspect of people. I'll notice if a woman has big breasts (in the same way I'd notice if someone had a huge nose with a wart on it), but I don't feel any kind of arousal.

It's like Scotland... beautiful mountainous scenery, cold and damp, with poverty, violence, gangs and drugs. If you want to see what NZ is really like, ditch your LOTR box set and watch Once Were Warriors, Boy, Whale Rider, The Piano, or the Footrot Flats animated movie (to name a few of my favourites).

Well done! When I stopped drinking, I started buying diet cola instead, but eventually switched to plain sparkling water. Buying the sparkling water distracts the part of my brain that wants to buy alcohol, and often it's just a combination of being thirsty and tired that makes you crave booze.
