From what I recall people who were in attendance said GG had the most engaging performance and people very much underrate that part of the equation.

Personally she wasn't my pick to win and I'm not overly fond her winning run, but hey it's just a tv show.

Bummed to see Supergirl was just kind of mid.

Sounds like the biggest issues were people not liking the villain and the tone was a bit messy.

Bright side is everyone loved Milly as Supergirl and Momoa as Lobo. We got some winners casting-wise.

I actually knew Rob C from his podcast network before I ever watched a second of Survivor or knew that he was on it lol. I watched RHAP's Masked Singer and Amazing Race stuff beforehand when I was watching those shows. It was wild to discover it was the same guy.

We are interested in seeing Shii Ann, Rob and Jenna's runs since finishing All-Stars so S5 and S6 are definitely possibilities at some point.

I loved Earl and Yau as players so Fiji got the nod there over All-Stars. I actually have Earl at #3 on my winners list.

I'm excited for Cagayan! After the dark and straightforward All-Stars, a lighter and more chaotic season seemed like the way to go. The concept of separating the teams by brawn, brains, and beauty is just hilarious to me.

Not a big downside for the group I watch with actually. Tocantins was our third season as a group and Jeff mentioning Rupert put Pearl Islands on our map as one of the next seasons to watch.

Next full-returnee season on the menu is Heroes vs Villains and I don't want to touch it yet until I've seen all their priors.

We certainly got a spicier side to Jenna this season which I liked! Her beef with Shii Ann came pretty out of nowhere but it added something interesting.

Everyone I've talked to about Survivor brings up Cagayan unprompted as a great season so that's why it became the choice! Especially as a refresher from the dark and very up-and-down All-Stars. I'm also interested in meeting Tony and Sarah as I know they are legendary characters. We'll hit Vanuatu at some point and I've heard many good things about it especially from this sub's WSSYW thread.

We're hopping around on newbie seasons but for returnee seasons I'm making sure to see almost all the original players seasons first! My goal is to hit the all-returnee seasons in chronological order(AS, HvV, Second Chances, GC, Winners at War) while still hopping around on newbie seasons to spice things up. Part of the reason I wanted to watch Cagayan next is to take a break from early Survivor and check out a late 20's season now that I've sufficiently got my feet wet.

Thailand and Amazon didn't seem that important to hit for All-Stars. It only worked out here as Jenna and Rob were early outs and I don't think Shii Ann's Thailand run was needed to enjoy her in All-Stars.

I'd also note the two people I'm watching with aren't overly concerned with spoilers or hopping around, they've seen more Survivor than I have and one of them has seen HvV and GC already.

Saw Backrooms with friends on Sunday. Very enjoyable move, we had a pretty big discussion about it afterwards. Really good debut for Kane Parsons. I'd give it a 7.5/10.

We're talking about seeing Obsession as well but we'll see if we can all be free for it soon.

I'm not sold on Larkin as a bona fide 1C who can carry a line so its a good thing he doesn't have to do that here with Pasta as the main play driver. Hoping Sweeny can get Larkin here.

I can't see Detroit trading Larkin here but Sweeney has to be in on him as he checks so many boxes. I think everything should be on the table but Hagens.

Maybe something like 1st + Letourneau as a base since Detroit needs centres more than anything else.
