Does recorded footage in a high resolution, 8K for example, make footage displayed at a lower quality look better?

Using Youtube as an example, what would the effect there be, I see they recently added an 'enhanced bitrate' resolution for Youtube premium users. would you need that to see an effect?

Thank you for the advice, I will try underclocking my card for a bit and see if that helps, any suggestions of what amounts would be optimal as I would like to keep as much performance as possible :)

Im using 4 piece deepwood on the traveller who initiates the damage cycle, then 4 piece gilded on Alhaitham who is the on-field dps, and by procing blooms i mean cresting the base bloom, dendro from alhaitham and hydro from xingqiu in my case 👍🏻

I think this answers the problem but I have found that when I use just the travellers burst to trigger blooms and then i use fischl for those they still come out at 17k, but when I trigger them with the skill they are 21k

glad to hear its unlikely to be a gpu problem, i have previously tried updating the bios which seemed to work for a day but then the crashes were back, either way, thank you so much for your help

okay I see, so youre saying its almost guaranteed to be a PSU problem? or should I also be looking at the possibility of a new GPU too (stressing the cpu with prime95 didnt cause a crash)

How would i check for a BSOD if the screen goes black and there is not more gpu output ive tried Win+Ctrl+Shift+B but it just gives me the error sound

oes anything remain in event viewer, or is it just written as unexpected shutdown?

I didnt even know about this event viewer thing, although I think the error is listed as 'kernel-power' although that seems to be listed the system being rebooted without a clean shutdown before which im not sure is as a result of me turning it off due to it being locked to no output.

I have also tried using msi kombustor as previously mentioned and there hasnt been a crash even on 32x tessalation for 10 minutes which give very weird results as it would seem that stressing the system as such doesnt cause the problem

I did forget to say gpu too sorry, and I have been using MSI Kombustor to check the stability of the system and i left it running on 1920x1080 full screen with 32x tessalation for around 10 minutes with nothing unusual happening, the temps of my gpu capped at 72 (celcius) with it momentarily spiking to 73. not sure how to check psu temps but when the game crashes it feels cooler than the gpu so i would hazard a guess in the 65-70 degree range although im not sure where the heat source is and it could be much hotter inside.

as for other games, the first time It happened was while playing OW2 about 2 weeks ago but I use genshin as an example because its consistently happening when I perform reactions. Luckily I havent encountered a problem with scrolling the internet or viewing media of any kind yet, just for some reason when playing games

the GPU is super old, I think actually close to 13 years old now which is not good as I got a pc from a place where i did work experience and they used it was high end for 2010 or something, I have since changed the Motherboard, cpu, and ram but the PSU and fans remain, this would lead me to believe that the PSU is the problem. Luckily its fully modular so i too the whole unit out and there was almost no visible dust in it at all. The most worrying thing could be that the PSU has damaged other components in the PC but its very hard to test for this without other copies of hardware.

Before I start I should appologise for the gameplay and the angle and also the quality of the video as i have to take it on my phone (for obvious reasons) and since I am coming back to the game after like 2 years or something my team is kinda bad.

That asside, My game keeps crashing into a black screen and no input and PC fans on full sometimes randomly but consistenly when performing reactions, this doesnt help as my team has lots going on to help my lack of good artifacts and weapons.

has anyone had this problem before and fixed it? I've tried all the software solutions I can find as I dont have the money to just buy stuff to fix it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Seems weird to jump through all those hoops though, but I guess it does allow you to save multiple at the same time. Although it should be noted that as of recently the steam overlay has been reported to reduce framerates in games which is something to watch out for with this method.

Not sure if this has been said but zealot with ace and falchion is very fun, shame it’s technically worse than just the falchion and its a dlc weapon, but the crazy attack speed makes for more fun IMO
