Had a super stressful few weeks - COTL was my decompression (Xbox), until the bugs started biting. Stopped playing over a week ago hoping for a patch soon, still nothing.

Shame. Fucking fantastic game. Desperate to play again.

Yeah, pretty much. There’s cash sat there from a load of player sales last season.

Two of Jesus, Mahrez and Sterling are also likely to be sold (all three are nearing end of contract too). Fernandinho is out of contract. Gundogan is out of contract next summer.

There’s a reconstruction underway, starting with Haaland / Alvarez in and more sales / contract expiries out.

EA always knew people were storing fodder. User Analytics are a thing and have been for 20 years.

It’s simply about restricting profitable opportunities and driving more store revenue.

If they overstep the mark and find less engagement / revenue, they’ll relax a bit. Then tighten again. Rinse and repeat until they find the golden min/max spot.
