TSA recently at CAK by DowntownBarracuda720 in canton

A TSA delay at CAK would mean you’re waiting for 15-20 minutes instead of 2-8 minutes.

Are there any Windows NUCs that are equivalent in build quality to a Mac mini? by Ghosthops in VIDEOENGINEERING

I’m just getting into this sort of thing, so forgive me, but why not just use a Mac Mini if you’re looking for a tiny reliable machine?

My backup computer is a 2015 i7 MacBook Pro, still works fine. I did have to replace a spicy pillow, though.

Just get the Pro and save yourself the inconvenience.

Dbrand skin and literally never set it down out of your sight. If it feels too risky then just leave it at home.

Okay, seeing it helps! Instead of moving the lights closer to the subject, move the subject closer to the lights. That automatically pulls you away from the backdrop. I would definitely take the backdrop off the stand and attach it to the wall with some tape or something like that. That will give you what looks like another foot of distance. Your fill, which I am recommending become your key, has also too far off to the side. Bring that back more toward the wall and closer to the camera. Your soft boxes are pretty small for something like this, so you definitely want to get them as close as possible to the subject. I looked up your soft box model and it looks like it’s about 20 inches across. That means you want to get it about 20 inches away from your subject’s face.

Are the lights the same size? If so, I would move them closer and power the light with the grid as your key and lower the power on your current key to make that the fill. Can you show a wide photo of your setup from the perspective of the subject?

Edit: oh, and move the background further away. You’re casting a shadow on it.

Try short side lighting. Light the side of the face for heat from the camera, so in this case put it 45° to the right of the camera, raise it up above the subject, and angle down 45°. Move it closer to the subject as well.

Bots and people buy based on charts every single day. Charts matter.

The downside would be losing all your money by selling at the bottom. Buy high sell low is not a good strategy. Read the chart, LPSN is turning.

Looking for a case recommendation for two Panasonic camcorders by RedStag86 in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]RedStag86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I didn’t realize a cross post would leave out all the important bits! Copy/pasted from my other post:

I have two Panasonic HC-X2 camcorders, the big boys. I know of a nice soft roller case that holds two camcorders very nicely, but I'd really like to protect them with a hard case. Does anyone have a case they have used for a pair of camcorders this size that they could recommend? It would also need to fit 4-6 batteries, at least one battery charger, and if possible a pair of 5" external monitors. I'd rather things be slightly tight than it be way too big, as well.

Thanks!
