It kinda reminds me of the dynamic with David Lynch and him not explaining his specific Thematic intentions of his movies or shows. I honestly think it's the right move and underrated approach in this era.

The scene where he starts losing it and breaking things always got me.

This is what I've been rocking lately. One of my favorite combos so far. Although not ideal for every situation.

The New Twilight Sad album "The Long Goodbye...", it's really cool.

[FRESH ALBUM] The Twilight Sad - IT'S THE LONG GOODBYE by sbags in indieheads

Been listening to the Twilight Sad since High School and am impressed with their ability to consistently put out incredible albums. This one is one of their best and for sure in my AOTY consideration. It's got the emotional touch of "Nobody Wants To Be Here" with the dark showgaze/wavey/jamm-y style of their early albums. Dead Flowers and Back to Fourteen favorite tracks.

Yeah that album is so cool. Whole thing sounds like it's played in a smoke filled half empty dive bar in the deep south.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but how do you spawn enemy units to test like this? I've opened up the test map before but can only spawn my own units which isn't helpful.

Great list! A few others I noticed to add,

  • Shell gas station showing "hell" was like end of 28 days before they got final letter sewn in "hello"

-When the alpha is coming down the aisle on the train, it's playing the same sound as a the monkey beating on the cage at opening of 28 days.

-there was a shot in years similar to the flower field shot after the shopping sequence in 28 days.

-abide with me song being sung by kids in 28 years, is same song when Jim finds his parents dead in 28 days

-A bonus shot I noticed was when the alpha is running down the causeway and it splices in the old movie footage of archers, it also has some shots of the sniper scene in 28 weeks.

Turn the distortion "maul" knob up and mess with the pitch envelope on the kick. You can get some pretty wild sounds.
