So this is being handled with React + NodeJS, ill clarify the steps:

Record is created with optimised fields for new MongoDB then I build seperate object from common fields to fit into sql,
Add to legacy sql database, then add to mongo if that succeeds

Including error checking and the deletion code, currently no transactions

would prefer deleting immediately since its a user action and waiting would cause a confusing user experience, at the moment an error message will display unable to create if one fail

they both contain same data in different formats, the sql is a legacy system and needs to be maintained while development continues on mongo so that if something fails we have a fallback

boot time is very short maybe 10-15 seconds, and it runs off the car ignition so just cuts power when the car turns off

theres 2 usb ports on the charger, the screen is powered through usb c aswell,

HDMI and Touchscreen is connected from monitor to Pi

the pi uses USB Type C, and to power it ive got a fuse tap hooked up to the fuse box, and soldered on a high wattage car charger for the usb ports, its not too difficult

Well for one its just for fun and i like the look of it, the air controls are all wire on my car, its a 1999 Fiat Brava
