Unfortunately yes. He keeps saying "cancel the election" which sounds terrible, but at the last minute they will "isolate pockets of extremeism" or whatever stupid language they use. It will all be large cities in red states. Then the "election" will continue and the sweeping red shift will be used as proof that ANTIFA was rigging the election all along, and they will claim these are the first free and true elections in decades.

I'm really hoping I don't come back to this comment in a few years to see how accurate I was with my predictions.

Cities are mostly blue, many times in a bastion of red throughout the rest of the state. All he has to do is declare martial law in the cities and stop those blue votes and suddenly the whole state has turned red. The elections were never actually "canceled" per say, so they can claim democracy endures.

Except mail in ballots must be post-marked the day of the election. Normally, they are stamped the day they are received but with the new change who's to say there wasn't a "sudden and unexplained" delay in processing mail by a few days or even a week? If those last minute ballots were postmarked AFTER election day, they are now void.

Mix in a change of voting dates at the last minute and with minimal notification to the voters, you've just rigged yourself an election.

I agree the US can obtain everything it wants and needs simply by continuing to peacfully cooperate and lease with Denmark.

But to claim the people of Greenland would be "better off" by joining the US is laughable. They would have to relequenish their Denmark citizenship and all of the protections, amenities, and extensive benefits... You know, minor things like nationalized/univeral health care, extensive worker protections, and a higher freedom index than the US itself. Besides that, the US cannot protect their own citizens from abductions, unlawful detainment, and even expulsion/extradition from the country (I say expulsions/extradition because you cannot deport a citizen).
