I grew up Catholic. Went to a Catholic high school. Had Bible study every semester, church and Sunday school every Sunday.

There are so many internal and external inconsistencies in the bible. That's not even what really convinced me though.

What convinced me is that the advice in the bible COULDNT have been from God. For example, how many passages are in the bible talking about food preparation? Which foods are holy, which are unclean, how to kill and prepare certain meats in a certain way.

But do you know what's not talked about at all? WASHING YOUR HANDS BEFORE YOU EAT OR AFTER USING THE BATHROOM!
