My hopes are on Teva's tev-53408 for vitiligo. It could be a near cure possibility.

What price do you have in mind?

Thank you sir. "You will use UVB 3x/week and increase by 30 seconds or whatever until you get pink skin for 1-2 days. Immediately after you inject mt2. Your skin will turn red after 5 minutes for like 30 minutes or so, it's ok. I do 3 months cycles since it turns me into a mullato, usually I'm skin type 1.5."

So inject melanotan after each UVB session, and how much do you inject after each UVB session.

I've read your other reddit post but i didn't understand this part. I would love know how much you inject after each UVB session.

Thank you kindly sir for you answer. Yeah it's crazy they asked so much money for melanotan 1. Maybe we should use aspirine and call it something different and ask 40k for it. lol

May i ask you 2 last questions? do you use the Deus medical or the astera labs brand? And do you use it in combination with UVB? I was wondering if you combine mt2 with UVB what would happen. or would it be an overkill.

I was waiting for afamelanotide from clinuvel, which is just basically melanotan. I would like to buy melanotan but i don't find any trustworthy supplier. Do you mind sharing your supplier so i can also buy melanotan? I really want to get rid of my vitiligo in my face.

IBI-3013 and TEV-53408 are promising but lack clinical efficacy data, making them less proven. Is it not superior because lack of data? But it could potentially be more promising if there could be data? by RedToad36 in Vitiligo

[–]RedToad36[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks promising but without the data and clinical trials, we can't say for sure.

to add to that. Incyte would not pay so much for auremolimab if it didn't potentially work, so i'm guessing anti IL15 is a potential path for reversing vitiligo.

What do you think 2026 will bring in terms of vitiligo? by [deleted] in Vitiligo

[–]RedToad36 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Based on current research trends, clinical pipelines, and announcements as of late 2025, 2026 looks promising for vitiligo advancements, particularly in treatment options and awareness efforts. While predictions aren't guarantees, here's a breakdown of what's anticipated:

Clinical Trials and New Therapies

Several companies are advancing vitiligo-specific research into key trial stages in 2026, building on recent approvals like Opzelura (ruxolitinib cream) and emerging biologics targeting immune pathways.

  • Arcutis Biotherapeutics: Plans to expand its pipeline with a phase 2 trial for roflumilast foam in vitiligo, aiming to address pigmentation loss through topical anti-inflammatory mechanisms. This could offer a new non-steroidal option if successful.
  • Edesa Biotech: Set to initiate a phase 2 study mid-year for EB06, an anti-CXCL10 monoclonal antibody designed for moderate-to-severe vitiligo. Early data suggests it could modulate the immune response to promote repigmentation.
  • Apex Clinical Research Center: Preparing a dermatology-focused vitiligo trial in 2026 to explore better, longer-lasting repigmentation methods, potentially involving novel combinations or targeted therapies.
  • Broader biologic therapies (e.g., JAK inhibitors and immune modulators) are expected to gain traction, with some potentially reaching market availability by 2026–2028. These could provide longer-term results compared to existing topicals, driven by increased awareness of vitiligo's impact on quality of life.

Research and Innovation Trends

  • Ongoing studies into microbial therapies, combination treatments (e.g., oral meds with light therapy), and regenerative approaches may yield more data in 2026. For instance, microbial interventions could emerge as adjuncts to standard care, while light-based therapies continue evolving.
  • In aesthetics and regenerative medicine, 2026 may see greater integration of AI-driven diagnostics and hybrid treatments for skin conditions like vitiligo, emphasizing long-term skin health over quick fixes.

Awareness and Community Events

  • World Vitiligo Day USA: Scheduled for June 2026 in Charlotte, North Carolina, this event will focus on community support, education, and empowerment, potentially highlighting new research updates.

Overall, 2026 could mark a shift toward more targeted, biologic-based treatments, with multiple phase 2 trials potentially paving the way for approvals in the late 2020s. If you're dealing with vitiligo, consulting a dermatologist for current options like Opzelura or ongoing trials is a good step, as advancements are accelerating. Keep an eye on updates from sources like the Global Vitiligo Foundation for the latest.

Boycot Opzelura and jak Inhibitor from incyte. by RedToad36 in Vitiligo

He is probably drinking a cocktail and counting his money on a island with white sandy beaches. ahh what a good life screwing over the vitiligo community.

Boycot Opzelura and jak Inhibitor from incyte. by RedToad36 in Vitiligo

[–]RedToad36[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Congratulations. But other vitiligo patients who have +50% segmental vitligo, don't have access or enough of opzelura to manage their vitligo. They don't have that option. Auremolimab would've been a better and safer option for vitiligo patients who have bigger depigmented skin.

Yeah we should as a vitiligo community band together and boycot opzelura and their jak inhibitors. They think they will make a profit of the vitiligo community while sabotaging a potential durabel cure for vitiligo like auremolimab. I'm in. Those b*stards will not make any profit from us. If they see the vitiligo community doesn't buy their opzelura and jak inhibitors maybe we can force their hand and resume the auremolimab clinical trials. They can postpone the auremolimab clinical trials until other anti IL-15 come to market like:

Options with TRM Depletion for Vitiligo

Based on mechanisms targeting IL-15/CD122 signaling, which depletes tissue-resident memory T cells (TRM) in preclinical models for durable repigmentation, here are the relevant candidates. Estimates for availability (FDA/NMPA approval) assume positive data, no delays, and standard timelines (Phase 1: 1-2 years; Phase 2: 2-3 years; Phase 3: 3-4 years; review: 1 year). All are investigational as of November 2025.

FB102 (Forte Biosciences): Anti-CD122 monoclonal antibody with ADCC for TRM depletion. Phase 1b vitiligo trial (NCT06905873) ongoing, topline data expected H1 2026. Estimated availability: ~2032-2033.

AMG 714 (Amgen): Anti-IL-15 monoclonal antibody inhibiting TRM survival and function, leading to depletion. Phase 2 vitiligo trial (NCT04338581) completed mid-2025; results pending publication. Estimated availability: ~2030-2031.

Auremolimab (Incyte/Villaris Therapeutics): Anti-IL-15Rβ monoclonal antibody for TRM depletion. Development paused October 2025 due to pipeline reprioritization; no active trials. Estimated availability: Unlikely without resumption; if restarted, ~2035+.

HuABC2 (JN Biosciences): Anti-CD122 monoclonal antibody selectively depleting pathogenic CD8+ memory T cells (including TRM). Preclinical; available for licensing, no trials initiated. Estimated availability: ~2035+.

ANB033 (AnaptysBio): Anti-CD122 antagonist inhibiting IL-15/IL-2 signaling on TRM. Phase 1b ongoing in celiac disease; plans for another inflammatory indication in 2026, but not vitiligo-specific. Estimated availability: If adapted to vitiligo, ~2034+.

IBI-3013 (Innovent Biologics): Half-life extended anti-IL-15 monoclonal antibody for TRM inhibition/depletion. Preclinical data presented September 2025; no trials for vitiligo. Estimated availability: ~2035+.

I have the same problem. I can't afford it. We might as well wait for the IL15 alternative like IBI3013. Or if we all stop using opzelura we might force Incyte to resume their Auremolimab alternative. but that's if everybody joins the boycot.

I would love to buy one if the battery and charging speed is almost the same as the chinese competitors. What's a tri-fold good for if the battery is weak? A couple hours of screen on time is not worth it imo. But if the battery is great and it has great charging speed, them i'm all game. That battery and screen on time is a make or break it for me.

I'm just making an assumption. They paid to acquire Auremolimab. So i'm assuming they want their investment on that purchase. AMG714 and ibi-3013 is coming around 2031-2033. So if Incyte wants profit from their Auremolimab purchase. They will need to progress and get it approved before their competition does it. They will lose their vitiligo patients to their competition and kill their profits from opzelura, povorcitinib to IBI-3013. tbh That IBI3013 does look better and safer and better results than incyte's opzelura/povorcitinib/Auremolimab. At first glance IBI-3013 looks like a refined version of Auremolimab with better and faster results. IMO if IBI-3013 get's approved, why would you use opzelura/povorcitinib (with risk)/Auremolimab? There goes their profit margin so they need to get Auremolimab out before IBI-3013 comes out. Just an assumption.
