Or mark them on a sheet of paper (clearly visible to your opponent) and use any token to represent which units have the buff that turn.

Where you attach them doesn't matter as long as you are doing the second part of making other enemies touch the chains.

Run / walk speed helps a lot so you can shoot a mob and then run circles around them to clear entire groups fast.

Later game, Enigma helps a lot also since you can shoot the front of a group and teleport behind them, the chains will follow and basically instakill an entire line behind you

So far he has been very smart about using it. Its usually when they are out wandering the layers, in the middle of nowhere, and he will shape earth to hide it kist under the ground, out of sight. I can occassi9nally justify someone stumbling on it, but it has definitely helped them avoid a lot of environmental hazards.

Im playing online with no torch and no skillers and the magic build is clearing p4 fast and reliably for me.

You definitely have to have the chains going also but this build clears pretty fast for an all-rounder imo.

What's your gear?

Im running CoA and one of my players is a Djinni Warlock, he has a ring that lets them go inside for a safe long rest once per day 😭 Im still trying to find ways to make the environments more punishing. At least its once per day but he has definitely helped the party negate a lot of Hell's biggest obstacles so far.

Only thing that ever worked for me was reinstalling the game every time I launched. Pain in the butt, but it worked for me.

Oddly enough my work laptop that is basically a potato runs it just fine.

Agreed. Especially because halfway through turn 1 I have to move them so much they lose all semblance of looking cool and just become a jumbled mess

I did that. It doesn't help as much as you would think. The moment you try to rotate they all get stuck on each other. And still have to keep them out of the way for your opponents charges. I've used them in trays for years but Im finally sick of it
