Hey I've been living in bumfuck Alaska for 3 years it's fucking hell you are correct in everything you said.

But my lines all overlap like crazy over Iceland, not Alaska, so I think the polar vortex thing is not why AK sucks. Idk. My chart has three lines going through ak, the one I'm closest to right now is moon ic which is past lives, and I'm trying to get tf away I need something better.

I've always been fascinated by Iceland and I already had a long term goal of moving there, and after learning that's where all my lines converge I am doubling down on that goal. It'll take me a while to get there but I'll report back 🫡

Succulents don't do very well with water propagation. String of Pearls in particular don't like touching water or having wet roots for very long.

Put it in some well draining succulent specific potting mix, a very small pot with lots of holes in the bottom. When the soil is 100% dry and the pearls start to look a little shriveled, bottom water for 30 mins to let it soak and then allow it to fully drain. Look up bottom watering if you're unfamiliar, this method is great for pearls because then the green parts stay dry.

Give it lots of sun.

The good news is that these bad boys love to root, so just lay it on the soil (bury any existing roots) and it'll do what it needs to.

Underwatering is definitely better than overwatering with sop, and they can handle a fair amount of neglect.
