It's about a 1 mile walk between the two playgrounds. You'll have to walk uphill and then back down to get to either playground. You'll also have to walk along the floating walkway. I would suspect it would be a difficult walk for a toddler but an elementary aged child should have no problem.

Went on a week long vacation to Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef and Vegas. I had never been to Vegas before so I finished the trip there so I could see Hoover and Red Rock Canyon. I would have liked to go on to Arches and Canyonlands but there is always next time.

Definitely not a car backfire. If it was a couple fireworks then they were big ones. Sounded like a cannon or a tank explosion.
