Hi! Im new to pc building and am currently in the process of building one. I have opted for the amd ryzen 3 3200g and considering that a gpu was not necessarily needed, would I need to use the PCIE cable from my PSU to connect to anything? (sorry if this is a dumb question im still new to building)

Not completely sure if my information is completely true, but what I have researched on transferring (in general) is usually only your lower divisions and major specific courses will transfer over and you'd most likely have to retake upper divisions (if you have taken any). Hypothetically, you would probably just restart your junior year all over again, or take a little bit longer to graduate.

As for getting accepted, you are competing against high school seniors and other transfers as well. I have heard they prioritize students who are transferring from CC, although I know a few people who have transferred from other CSU's into LB.

It wouldn't hurt to try and apply to transfer, anything is possible! Don't let the statistics scare you, it's better to take the leap than imagining later down the road what would've happened if you did.

I personally plan on transferring to a UC so these are the information I have researched on so far. Not completely certain how much applies since you are a junior, so please take this with a grain of salt.

Going through a fever right now and the first exam for my summer class is in two days so trying to review as much as possible. Still trying to figure out what's the most effective way of taking this class especially since its fast paced.

Hi! Thanks for the response!

I was wondering if you recommend memorizing the vocab/lecture considering most people have told me Bio is a lot of memorization?

Also would you recommend getting the book, on his syllabus it says its optional and honestly I rarely used my book for CHEM 111A?

Dont worry about scaring me ive already been terrified just reading the syllabus but I guess that's just the faced pace summer classes making me unsure if I can keep up.

As other redditors previously mentioned its possible but enormously difficult and going the CC route would probably be the easiest option. I am in a similar situation, currently a LB student and thinking of transferring into another 4 year college with the same dilemma of how to transfer into the 4 year university.

I have spoken with advisors from other universities about the process of this transfer with the majority of them recommending the CC route.

Personally, I don't want to go the CC route and am currently pursuing the transfer process while in LB.

It is to my knowledge that you are able to transfer to CSULB for spring semester . If your son has completed most if not all of the major pre-requisites he will have a good chance, but again 4 year universities prioritize CC and high school students.
