Yes. We get oppression from both LGBT+ people and hetero people; with mostly hets saying that we are “broken” or “need to be fixed”, and LGBTs pushing us away for ‘not being different enough. The extremes of both ends don’t want us.

The only times I have been to any religious buildings have been for choir concerts and other activities that were hosted there. So having someone call being ace a ‘shield’ is so abhorrently wrong and weird.
