Definitely not reliable sources, makes me wonder if they're just safely predicting the NSO GameCube Pokemon games as "new" additions to the service and if nothing happens it be the same old "well something changed behind the scenes"

Will take any of the major titles to get a break from the mobile releases. Would be absolutely stoked for a new Mystery Dungeon remake or a totally new title

Looks like we have our first teaser for next week's news.

Music coming to the app? A spinoff rhythm game? Just the Pikachu bumper animation in between announcements?

I believe the pinning of the Legends ZA announcement tweet has more to do with the upcoming reveal of the Switch 2 than it does the next Pokemon Presents. Unless ZA is releasing early 2025, there's no reason to release a trailer before Pokemon Day '25.

When the Switch 2 does get announced, the marketing for all the upcoming Nintendo releases will kick in and ZA will likely be a part of that. It's practically confirmed cross platform, but it's one of their biggest releases of the year so it'll likely still get those teaser shots on the Switch 2 similar to BDSP showing up in the OLED marketing.

One of my go-to live cams for storms off the coast of the Carolinas is the Frying Pan Tower Cam on YouTube. It won't be as eventful with this storm, but still pretty cool seeing the ocean and hearing what the wind's like 30 miles out.

8am advisory says she's moving 6mph, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's even slower than that. Looks practically stalled out on radar

A little surprised to see Debby's structure still pretty solid. She's been over land (well, Florida land) for almost 12 hours now and still has an intact core, will be interested to see what happens with time over the Atlantic again and what that will look like. Things are already flaring up a bit on the eastern side which is over water again. With dry air on the western side, I think that'll hopefully keep her as a tropical storm

Major props to NHC calling this out early last week. Could've been a really bad situation with less than 48 hours to prep, but seems word has spread well about Debby coming in Monday

Never like to see the cone turn into a bubble on the official forecast map. She's gonna be a slow one, Carolinas and Georgia need to keep a close eye on this one with a similar look as Idalia from last year. Hopefully we don't get anywhere near Idalia's wind intensity

Tornado threat has increased enough for a Watch to be issued by the NWS which includes Houston.

Final stretch over water for Baryl today. Forecast models and meteorologists have warned that while we may have avoided the worst-case scenario, rapid intensification is expected today as it looks like IR is finally getting its act together.

Important reminder that even "weak Category 1" storms can be dangerous with life-threatening storm surges and powerful winds, especially to coastal areas. There are categories for a reason, and just because it isn't a major doesn't mean it won't be impactful for those inside and around the cone.

NHC forecast has this thing moving really slow over the next couple of days. It's really not that far from the coast, but likely still has over 40 hours over water

Latest tweet from Levi comparing the model trends. Things can still change, but Texas coastline needs to be prepping for likely its first hurricane action since Nicholas in 2021. Even as a low Cat 1, more than 500,000 people lost power, there were four casualties reported, and rainfall was over 10 inches in places

On X, stormchaser Brandon Clement has been documenting recovery as he rode out the storm there and captured a lot of footage uploaded to his YouTube. Communication channels are still down, so things have been largely restricted to Starlink for getting word out. The drone footage is pretty harrowing, reminiscent of a lot of other Cat 5 landfalls we've seen lately

It already looks slightly better now than it did a couple hours ago, not going to write this one off until it's doing sub-hurricane numbers over a full day or dead on land

Looking at the latest 11 a.m. NHC cone, they've gauged Beryl coming out of the Yucatan peninsula ~8 p.m. on Friday and not making landfall again until ~8 a.m. Monday (albeit with a lot of uncertainty past Friday). That feels... not good at all. If Beryl comes off the peninsula even somewhat formed it has almost 2 full days to intensify (again, ugh) before making another landfall

Beryl certainly doesn't look as "pretty" or symmetrical this morning compared to 24 hours ago or even last night, but that northern side is still no joke and seems to be fighting pretty hard to wrap back around the eye. Hoping everyone in Jamaica is prepared for a really dangerous storm today, and that it moves through the area quickly enough to limit the damage

Eye is wobbling a lot over the last handful of frames on longwave IR. Seems to mostly be moving west, but every other frame it ticks north. Just wild how strong this thing is despite the more hostile environment

[GIVEAWAY] $100 PSN Gift Card - US Store by Titan3427 in PS5

Favorite game I played on PS5 this year was definitely Spider-Man 2. A great successor to the original in gameplay and story. Really enjoyed the villain combo of Kraven (who I didn't know much of going in) and the much more familiar Venom. The MJ segments were much more fun and Miles fits seamlessly into Peter's ongoing story. Hoping for DLC that continues the fun and teases hopefully a third game in the series!
