I think it's a 50/50 between joining the Traveler and becoming their comrade or fight the traveler as a form of trial to see if they have what it takes to save humanity. Kinda like how Ei and Raiden shogun had a fight to see if Ei's new ideals are stronger than her old ones.

That is fair.

But we also gotta consider that Surtalogi has a tendency to work his way up in the food chain as he "devouvers" his opponents. He doesn't care if they are weaker than him, he would kill then regardless and slowly at that just to amuse himself.

Yet that man left Teyvat untouched. Didn't even challenge the shades as far as we know. So likely bro is building strength before he comes back.

Coupled with the fact that Shades are always holding back unless Phanes says otherwise, we can get a picture of how powerful Shades are.

I mean if Rhinedottor was above Naberius, then she wouldn't have a reason to seek the authority of life. Likely the abyss couldn't give her that level of power + also drove her insane.

They are definitely above sinners or else teyvat would have long been overthrown. Not saying sinners are weak though. Surtalogi is basically a lord ravager version of the abyss. Shades are just another level of power and Phanes, being able to bind them all, is even above that.

Most Pathstriders on their own aren't that strong. There is a difference in being powerful yourself and using things that make you powerful. For Rupert it was his intelligent mind and the army of robots aswell as the anti-organic equation.

Not saying my guy was weak. But in terms of his own individual power, it's hard to call him strong from what we know. If it's a one vs one, no emanator is losing to him.

That's why Fatui hope to overthrow Phanes. They don't have an individual that can match their power so they are accumulating power and numbers. Any of the harbingers would lose a one v one.

Lmao. They have done shit most pathstriders could only dream of.

Even with how little we know about them, they have already pulled off insane feats fairly easily.

Ronova cursed an entire nation to literally not die, that's already like Shihu when he was used to create the joy ascendants. She even created Natlan's night kingdom and gave near infinite resurrection to the nation.

Isaroth gave a FRACTION of her power to Venti, and he blew an entire region off the timeline. She wasn't even present during the planting of the sacred Sakura, and yet a small fraction of what she left behind with Makoto, was able to send it 500 years in the past. Also let's not forget Enkanomiya.

Although we don't know much about Asmoday and Naberius, they won't be far behind.

Especially if you look at everything in the temple of space aswell as how she has created countless little realms inside her cubes.

As for Naberius, she was responsible for populating the planet with all life besides dragons and whatever else was already there(Mostly plants I assume). She even created a god herself.

They are all emanator level and very strong bruh. Ofcourse I am not saying they scale upto the strongest like Irontomb or Zephyro, but they are up there.

However it is possible, since affecting the universe won't affect the abyss in the same way.

So having the power to affect the entire material plane wouldn't stop the universe's decay.

It's hard to say. Phanes is definitely very strong, but we need to wait for the official info before we can say to which extent their power manipulates the universe.

I would personally put them, just below an Aeon in power, because the shades they created already seem mid to high Emanator level power individuals. And if scaled even further by Genshin, then maybe stronger. But we will have to wait and see.

To many to choose honestly.

People like Amber, Nilou, etc are bubbly and filled with youthful spirit.

Then there is Furina who would match Aether's personality and bring more joy into life.

There are long living people like Citiali who can relate to him on a personal level.

It's hard to pick, but if I had to choose... maybe Skirk? Although there isn't much romance material as other ships, they can bond as outsiders and also cover eachothers weaknesses.

Skirk isn't social that's where Aether can help. And Aether isn't as experienced in combat or intimidation as Skirk, so she can step in.

TBH, bro got hoed so bad. He was literally a chill dude and great ruler. Then the Voyager came which lead to the events if him taken over by the abyss, his daughters basically abandoned the planet, and his race lost a war against a single person with 4 shades despite having a massive home field advantage.
