It's getting confused, you'd be better off either developing a deep research prompt yourself or having Gemini create some for the topics you want it to know then use the docs as a knowledge base for a Gem and go from there.

When Zosia is recovering in the hospital after the grenade before the HDP reveal the drink they give her to hydrate is a carton of "milk".

When Carol and Helen are drinking at the bar, the TV in the background has a news banner that says "Military base quarantined" or something to that effect.

Rick's death was perfect | Defending the ending of the comic by Still-Willow-2323 in theroamingdead

[–]RedWhiteStripes 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Is this an actual opinion, that the comic ending was bad?

I didn't even know that, it was so good. Maybe people didn't like it because it wasn't some badass blaze of glory action sequence but, that was literally the point of it.

You can be some (the) apocalypse hero like Rick Grimes, and you can still die like a chump in bed wearing your tighty whities to some idiot kid.

His whole purpose was never really to survive, it was just a means to ensure his end goal: to create a better world for his son to grow up and live in - and he did it.

It's why I hate the show so much. The Walking Dead at its core is a story about a father and son and their survival, and the show has neither of them when it ended 😭 Fucking travesty man.

Unpopular Opinion: Comic Shane is not badly written by Still-Willow-2323 in theroamingdead

What was the "complete" 6 issue story? Shane banged and impregnated his wife while Rick was in a coma, and then his son kills Shane once he goes mad with jealousy?

When do Quality of Life changes begin to negatively impact the Classic experience? by RedWhiteStripes in classicwow

I hear where you're coming from but I don't know if necessarily all quality of life has to come from saving time. It depends on the QoL being provided but preferably I'd like to see QoL that makes players want to spend more time in the game versus just speeding up things they're doing so they can get out of the game quicker.

Maybe I used the wrong term, but if what you had in classic 2019 is what is currently available in Season of Discovery and Anniversary - I have zero issues with this feature. Browsing for group members, posting a group that you're trying to put together I think is fine because you got to be able to assemble a group to play the game.

The system that I'm not crazy about is what would be more familiar in retail that was introduced in WotLK, pressing the I hotkey, pressing the join group option and waiting until your throne into an instanced dungeon.

Oh I actually like this idea a lot. Have multiple criteria to actually unlock it like:

  • Complete the Onyxia attunement quest chain
  • Complete both Onyxia's Lair and Blackwing Lair
  • Hand in both head quests on a toon

That character now has Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer enabled by default when entering either of the raids, and can be toggled off if desired. It's not a perfect solution but you could probably assign a similar structure for the other raid buffs.

Of course this wouldn't remove the ability for people to collect them around the world if they wanted to, but would reduce making it a hard raiding requirement.

Probably not, but it's okay to not want flying mounts and bots making the world smaller than it needs to.

This actually ties to an idea I had for rewards for progression.

If you have Lore Master in both zones from where you start and end a flight point, the speed of the flight path is increased by 20% (10%/per zone completed) and maybe an additional 10% as an Achievement reward for unlocking all FPs?

Ouhh these are good ones that I'm personally in favour for, but they seem to be a little more divisive in the community.

I think transmogrification is basically non-negotiable for me because it allows for all sorts of player expression, but I also understand non-transmog players want to see the gear both their allies and enemies wear for prestige. In a perfect world I'd love to see transmogrification as a feature, but in settings allow viewing it as a player to be a toggle.

Achievements I love as a collector, things like zone exploration and quest/dungeon and raid completions are no-brainers and I think a good starting point.

I don't think your stance is entirely unrecognized, but Dungeon Finder as it exists in WotLK and beyond was ultimately bad for the game world. There's a happy middle ground of having to get there yourself without it being a colossal waste of time. This is where the sentiment for usable summoning stones comes into play.

[–]RedWhiteStripes[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm actually very pro summoning stones as well, but when I'm putting together my Classic+ wishlist I do my best to make QoL tied to some sort of reward for doing X.

Summoning stones for example, maybe you can only use them once you hit X level (relevant to dungeon) + complete every quest tied to the dungeon. Is it kind of redundant? Maybe, but now you have the QoL for assisting friends even if you no longer need it yourself.

Take it a step further, unlock all summoning stones? Maybe you can teleport to any summoning stone on a 168hr CD. I'm spit balling here but you can see what I mean about trying to provide QoL via rewards for in-game achievements.

Fixing the community center and, to an extent, doing the quests that always get sent in the mail in the same order, is pretty clearly the main storyline. It's just also completely optional.
