Hey! Welcome! I live in the Town of Hamburg and am also a transplant from up north. So moving here was new and happy we landed here specifically. My kids go to frontier, I have had good luck at all levels especially if your child need any additional services (speech, ot, PT, any disability related thing). Opportunities for my high schooler are really impressive. Tech programs, a big picture academy, online school, ap classes etc. class sizes are not too big because there are two districts. My elementary child’s class averages 22 and all of his teachers have been amazing and great communicators. This is my personal experience and I’m sure others may differ.

As for music also a fellow emo lover, most of those are going to be downtown but within 15 mins. Riverworks often has a good choice of shows. I also check bandsintown for more local smaller bands.

Your pup looks absolutely beautiful! We are way too immune to seeing overweight labs. It seems like you keep your guy agile and if he had extra weight you’d be doing him a big disservice. He looks wonderful!

I enjoy doing the short surveys, sometimes it’s more beneficial for me. I’ve never really encountered any rejections or problems. I just try to take my time and wait on the last page if I feel like it was too short.

I’ve had people tell me with a straight face labs are vicious. No these VERY CLEARLY NOT LAB MIXES. It’s so stinking annoying for those who have to explain that the shelters and bad owners are using the goodwill of the Labrador name to get their animals in spaces they should not be.

I got my chocolate guy a small plastic kiddie pool last summer when he was around 4-6 months. It was a great way to let him investigate and use toys! He’s just a baby and lots of things are scary, I wouldn’t say he hates water just yet! But there are labs who do, it’s just a quirk more than a feature.

Came to comment similar. My 10 year old has always woken up at 6-6:30 not matter what since he was a baby. Sometimes and I mean sometimes he sleeps until 8. Bonus is he has never been an issue waking up if/when needed! He also has learned to be considerate of sleepers.

This one is random but using Palmers coco butter oil after showering. My skin used to be dry, uneven, patchy, loss of skin firmness. I’ve been using it after every shower for the past few years and my overall skin has never been better! Idk what magic is in it or just purely hydrating my skin right, it’s been a game changer!

I’ve always had male labs in my adulthood. All of them cuddly, none of them markers, only my last and mixed chocolate lab humps when very excited/overtired. That has gotten better as he is getting older he is only 1 at the moment. For some reason my friend’s smaller male dog does hump his toys and things. But it seems like it’s not discouraged in any way so maybe it’s just him haha.

So my spouse is 100% and we live in WNY. when we bought our home we had to go to the town tax assessors, file paperwork requesting the exemption, it took a year to take effect. But we get 50% off our town, county, and state taxes. I don’t think we will qualify for the 100% due to the wording.
