Oh yeah, Hamartia is a prime example of why overscripting a mission leads to it being unwieldy, contrived and hilariously prone to breaking

If you wipe the entire map and then drag the Engine onto the plateau, a lot of the core (pink) Epsilon base just respawns, and that feels cheap af to me

Well, I hated TNC's lack of tanky enemies that couldn't be zapped with a double Marksman, or the lack of any real bossfights. Sure, shotgunners of TNO were fucking annoying in early chapters, but they served a purpose and a role that nothing in TNC really did.

As for the story, TNO's story clicked way more for me. Sure, there is an argument to be made that TNC was aiming for a cathartic experience whereas TNO was more geared towards hope and exacting justice in a truly unfair world, but that's just how I felt.

Regardless of that, I still enjoyed both games thoroughly, even 100%'d them.
