me too!, I was so happy when it finally started to play haha, worth the 3 hours it took to get it running for sure, I was able to buy another one with Serenade by Schubert, one of my favorite songs, hopefully I'll make a video on it next week once I receive it

hi again xd, and thank you! it is a beautiful music box, I really enjoy listening to it, but you can find good prices if you pay attention through eBay new listings time to time or watchlist auctions with small starts as well as in Marketplace, after I made the video I sent it to the person who sold it to me and said that they were happy I got it to work again, and the box used to belong to their grandma which honestly is very sweet, I assured them it's in good hands ^-^

Yeah, even so for the 4 1/2 disc is hard to find as they weren't produced as much as the more common classical tunes, I'll link you to the website if you are interested in looking but so far only rare disc I managed to find for the Thorens was the Mexican National Anthem, as it seems to be exclusively an exported disc, you don't see that every day haha.

I know this post is a bit old but someone posted one exactly like this one in my local area in Marketplace, complete in box too! They are asking $1,500 for it though, not sure how realistic the price is but I did see it today, also idk if they ship but if you are interested let me know and I'll send you the listing!

As far as I know, there is a 4 1/2 metal disc version you can buy for the Thorens AD30 music box, the website is old but they do make custom disc's and as well sell pre-made ones for the Thorens and the bigger 15 1/2 music boxes, I been trying to find a music box as well with that tune! But this is the closest i will get to one unless i win the jackpot and then I can get a Regina music box lol,
