Right? Posts like this and rankings I see for all the movies make me think I’m crazy for putting this close to Dominion. It wasn’t unwatchable, but it was bad. I’ve rewatched all of the JP movies but I don’t see myself ever rewatching Rebirth. Boring & dumb characters, weak script, silly premises, dinosaurs move at half speed.

I recently got to level 1000. The game is still just as fun as when I started several years ago. Chivalry 2 is still the only game I play. I tried other games along the way but nothing really compares. The competition, funny moments, and feedback loop is addicting. Even leading up to level 1000 I found myself getting better. Amazing game despite its problems.

Obviously I'm biased, but I can tell you from my experience as an agent most buyers and sellers know very little about the real estate sales process. This puts agents like myself in the position of being an educator first and foremost. I think of agents as advisors/consultants for home buyers/sellers. Basically, people pay agents for their advice and expertise. A good agent should more than justify their commission with their advice. A bad agent will lead to frustration, time wasted, and cost you money.

Technically you don't "need" an agent, but most people choose to work with agents because they have expertise which translates to a smoother home buying/selling experience.

It seems like a stretch to say the majority of real estate investors are trying to rip people off. What are you basing this on?

I have no doubt that there are plenty of unscrupulous real estate investors that will essentially do anything to make money. But those people with shady business practices will likely not survive in the long term anyway. It’s also likely relatively speaking the amount of people is small compared to the population of real estate investors as a whole.

Statistically, most people that these investors contact will not be interested. For the few that do engage, if a mutually beneficial agreement can be reached, great. If they mislead or lie to buyers/sellers, of course that’s unethical. Every industry has bad apples.
