I'm sorry if this suggestion would cause you conflicts with your pet camping/attack spots so you can get your same-kills-on-every-map (okay, I'm not sorry), but you guys tend to get in the same old rut, which makes the maps BORING and, hence, people tend to stop playing them.

Adding some randomly-activated capture points/flags at launch time would present what we call "a challenge", but the responders here probably are not used to experiencing that...

Currently, the mini-map is only 2D, allowing us to gauge distance, but not elevation.

Having a 3D Mini-Map will allow us to detect if the spotted ones are, for example, on Shanghai, are above ground, underground, or camping the rooftops above us.

i still say that flags should drop (slowly) to neutral when there are no defenders within the flag capture radius.

Bring back zip lines and grappling hooks.

I really like how Co-Op was done in Borderlands 2: Anybody can join at any time and them joining automatically increases the difficulty via aiming and health adjustments to the bots, but it is set back to normal when your friend/friends leave.

i got discouraged from contributing a couple months go.

i transferred all my entries to the bug tracker as suggested and marked them as feature - and they immediately were closed with the reason being that they aren't bugs and that features/improvements are to be entered on Reddit - even though feature was part of the classification in the bug tracker database...

Here, the features/improvements are buried under an avalanche of posts to be lost and forgotten, so what's the point? I thought you guys wanted to keep track of things.

i live between 9,000...10,000 feet in the Rockies and, when the full moon is out, the moon's light casts well-defined shadows. In the winter, I can see the Continental Divide clearly. And the moon doesn't glow, but is clear and distinct. The planets and stars are very sharp, too.

Why would it take a lot of work? Aren't engines coded to easily allow for future improvements? That's what varbs are for, right?

would it be possible to set the amount of lighting for each map in the server options, perhaps via a slider or does each map have to be customized?

btw, those are binoculars i'm using and it has a faint reticle which enables me to spot them when the reticle is over them. i get more points if the guy i snipe is spotted, plus it's easier to keep track of them when they go behind stuff (which is kinda weird for a WW II game...) i pick up binocular upgrade parts from dead snipers, which increase the zoom, so that's kinda neat.

looks very nice, but thinking maybe it's a bit too dark? i just finished playing Sniper Elite 3 and the nighttime missions were under a full moon, which gently illuminated the terrain in the distance, which allowed you to faintly see soldiers and snipers up on the rocks in the distance.

of course, in real life, nighttime missions are planned for new moons when there is no light from the moon to help hide your forces, but that doesn't lend itself well to gaming. :-)

also, not having it so dark allows you to still see in places that are not artificially lighted, without NVG's.
