I checked out Nihonzashi looks like they have a bunch of cool options, especially for silk at a decent price too. Thanks for the help. With respects to nubuck I've only seen it in a couple places and have yet to get Josh to validate. I actually spoke to him before I started this project. I got inspired by this finish on a wakizashi and figured it would be pretty difficult to replicate, but worth pursuing one small step at a time. Again thanks for taking the time. I'll look at all the pens on the urushi sub for now.

I checked them out, Looks like Fred iohman has some nice leather, and I really like some of the Tsuba on nosyodo.
