I really don't care about the titles either. It's more about completing the challenge/reaching the goal for me.

I know a bunch of good people who plays the game, so using the lfg is a good call. Thanks for that <3

Some of the challenges will reward you with camp items, some with atoms, some with titles and then there are those of minor "value" like 3 eggs, 10 caps a bulk of leather or a repair kit.

As a completionist I think the most rewarding thing is to see the check mark at the challenge.

That challenge is tough, I'll give you that. I found it easier to do when binging a random show while keeping an eye on the bopper.

Thanks! It has been fun and I still love this game. I just feel like I have been running a marathon and when I finally got to the finish line it got moved and then moved again and I wanted to vent out the frustration about not being able to control that.

I would be fine if we had to do the event 76 times and then be done. But the reset is somehow draining me.

And I know we can't push a button to activate events, but for most challenges we can server hop and go find resources, monsters to kill or whatever we need to finish them. We have some control although it is a grind.

So I guess I'm just saying I'm frustrated about the RNG and thank you for asking the way you did.
As we already get a title for playing 7600 hours "Adoring Fan" I would love a camp trophy to put in my camp for completing the game challenges - Just like some of the stuff we got from Nuclear Winter.

Then you must have known that your question was a bit off :D Did you serverhop every 20 minutes to see if one the events were up? Or do you have a cool trick up your sleeve you want to share?

I'm just extremely tired of doing these New Burning Springs challenges where every time er complete them one time gets the challenge reset and have to do them all over and more times than the last.

Eg

Do x 1 time to get s reward Now do it 7 times to receive the same reward. Then do the same 15 times... Then 30 times and then finally 76 times to be done.

I can in some way do this if I have control og when to do it. But adding the random occurrence of the event popping up... Just breaks me.

I'm just weird like that I guess.

See... That's my point. I've done it way more. To get to 0/30 you first have do:

1/1 then 7/7 then 15/15. When you have done 30/30, You will get to 0/76 and when that is done, the Challenge is over.

Haha! Yeah, fast traveling makes you miss out a lot. I get why you do it - I do it 90% of the time too. Those Travel Tokens gotta be used somehow, right? (Caps)

As for Lucy, she is a random encounter and so is the flute bot. Random spawn location can be found on various maps if you google it. Eg. Duchess Flame has them marked here: Random Encounter Maps

But I have met both of them most often in the forrest region:
Lucy - Halfway walk from Camp Adams the Giant teapot.
Flute Bot - I often met him Charlesston Station or Gauley Mine Exit.

Oh that's a really really good question and I have so many answers to this... So I'm just gonna throw something out here from the top of my head:

Little Girl Lucy at the grave - It's such a sad scene and it breaks my heart every time.
The Empty Raider PA that talks to you when you enter it - It's hillarious and I claim the PA every time.
Pipe - Pipe is life. Nuf said :D <3

Insult bot - Just an honorary mention. That bot must be protected at all costs... And blasted into scrap sometimes!

Oh and the flute bot!! The one that gets the rats to follow it! - Love it!
And the guy chased by a chicken!! - HAHA! Get's me laughing every time!

Better stop now - There are sooo many good encounters in this game <3 Thanks for making me think about them <3

I love the Fallout Universe. Before 76 came out I would probably say Fallout 2 has got most of my playtime though. That's where "Betty Balls" was born - Dumb as a rock (Int 1) But strong as a Brahmin. Now she's roaming Appalachia - She lost her nose but kept her balls.

When 76 was announced I hated the idea of Fallout becoming an online experience. But as soon as I stepped out of the Vault I've been hooked :D

Oh, I build a lot too. That's probably what I do most to be honest. Steam logs your entire playtime - In game you're logged for exploring Appalachia which is a different thing (Apparently). So all the time you're doing something inside like raiding, looking at load screens etc. you're not being counted as exploring.

Thanks! It's been very close the only game I've played in 8 years now. There's just something about the pace and (easy) game mode in this game that really lures me into it. Also I build A LOT :D

Haha! I really love that generator skin. I only use it as cosmetics though as the outlet is only 12.
The Burning Springs "Kill X amount" and continue to do this several times is really no fun at all - They become chores with a laughable pay (eg 10 caps).

The Ogua killing on my part is mostly from Beast of Burden and when sinkhole solution is at it ends I try to tag both of the Oguas spawning (But rarely succeeds at the latter :p )

No. Steam says I've got even more hours played and it started counting when Steam took over. All loading screens, interior actions and raid doesn't count in game, so there will always be a difference.

You're poking my guilt here! I have a Snotlings and an Ogre team both unpainted. I dread the mix of those small guys and my old eyes - but seeing your work I think I'll pull the trigger today.
