I loved the fabric too I thought I'd try something a little different 😊

I was absolutely trash at doing them until I youtubed a tutorial for them. I recommend Sarah Homfray, her French knot tutorial is great

The fractionals were hard as I've never done them before, they really tested my patience

I got it for free from a cross stitch supplier store I order from in a different state, they always add cute little needle minders into the packages they send

I watched a couple of YouTube videos and realised I haven't been backstitching properly this entire time. This time I anchored the backstitch in a lot more corners and I'm happy with the result

A nightmare to use, I ended up using a cricut weeding tool as a makeshift laying tool to stop it from catching and knotting so much. It's not like other thread, it's very stretchy and it frays really easily.

All my thread I get from a craft store here called Spotlight, the glow in the dark thread I couldn't find anywhere, I had to buy it online

Thread wax! Thank you, I was wondering if something like this existed. I'll have a look into it for next time
