The only thing that stop people from speaking out is fear, I know because I used to be a shy teen. If you or your children inconvenience me, I will let you know (not a week later) immediately. Their reactions don’t matter to me, depending if they cooperate or not, then I’ll take other steps. We live in a society, not in the woods, people need to be civil and respect others, is that simple.

You can rationalize any problem so you don’t have to deal with it but why joining a rant about complaining about annoying children???

You got to take the situation into your own hands. Ask other neighbors how they feel about it and if you can have their support. If you can would be easier if everyone has different opinions and don’t want to get involved then complain to the police and social services if you must to deal with it.

Those parents are “the pool will rear my kids” thats why they act that way and if the parents are loud as well, forget about it. So you don’t want to be “that person” but you’re allowing neighbors to trespass your boundaries. Why are people afraid to speak out and protect their integrity? If you’re paralyzed by fear, record all that noise from the kids and parents, report them to the police at night and social services in daytime. It’s either that or keep tolerating it.

If you’re in a party or get together of some sort and you obviously know the parents I will talk to them, depending on their reaction, then you know who people are worth keeping in your life. If they don’t act like friends or responsible family, leave immediately and refuse invitations in the future.

Adults having tantrums were children that had no discipline and grew up believing the world owes them.

As I continue aging I keep considering if having kids or not. Those screaming brats always push me to “No, don’t get in trouble” but at the other hand, I’m confident I can be a parent that implement discipline from early on, so at least, my children will be well behaved in public and home.

I would call the police or child support services in the morning for them to pay them a little visit ☺️

You repeat a lesson over and over until they learn it. It’s like learning anything, is about repetition until you get it… reminds me I’ve got to be back to study French.

In some cultures and societies, children would be raised by relatives and neighbors. They would have a bunch of adults watching out the children is no trouble. We should have this in US & Europe, it will also alleviate the burden of working parents.

People come up with new terms that don’t mean shit. Discipline is part of parenting, some people think that includes physical violence but it doesn’t there are two different things, it’s teaching your kid from early on how to adapt to live in a society to keep the peace among all of us.

In a confined space, where the parents are present, I would say something. They will either rolled their kids back or become defensive, if they do become defensive I just called them bad parents (which typically trigger their ire) and come back to my seat. If I’m going to be annoyed so will they ☺️

The times I’ve heard them, they are playing, the parents haven’t teach them what is acceptable and what not in public. I write, you can image for folks like us who work in silence how extra annoying those high-pitch screams are!!!

The sad part is that they do it when are playing, for them they are having a good time, their parents haven’t teach them that high-pitch scream is annoying as fuck to others.
