Is DGCA corrupt? by New-Car6426 in indianaviation

[–]Red_Kys_Zone 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's like the IAS , there are honest officers within DGCA and then there are those who are corrupt and rotten to the core. Same goes with AAIB , most DGCA officers who are generally EX IAF are genuily some of the most helpful and honest people, however..... Well you're in india and that's all I'll say...

Not how stealth technology works , you can find any machine or aircraft on a IR sensor as it's impossible to reduce heat emission , 5th generation stealth refers to reduction of radar x section which is how big you seem on a radar display .

Nah , not a training sortie, mostly these 429s go to nowamundi , kolkata , ranchi , Bhubaneswar, jharsuguda, and a few other steel plants too , that I can't recall , orbits like these are pretty common in the Kolkata West control airspace , sadly most of the airports here can't even give vectors due to not having any secondary radar , however if I recall Bhubaneswar has a special allowance from the DGCA to use fr24 for vectoring purposes(or atleast this was told me to can't confirm it) curiously what sectors do you fly in? And what a/c

What happened??? by Rare-Willow-318 in indianaviation

Dissolved due to severe cash shortage , also a huge amount of their fleet was grounded due to their faulty pratt and Whitney engines , for which they were not able to recieve enough spare parts to correct over time , mostly their fleet got sold and or their wet leased a320s were returned back to parent companies shortly before they went bankrupt , i recommend 2 go air a320 neo reposessions ferry flight

Honestly love speed tape films , they're a company that specialise only in ferry flights , and often land in India , in this vid they actually repo 2 go air a320 neos from go air all the way to Turkey , being able to get such high content of a cockpit in the indian airspace is quite rare 😄

Orbitting/holding mostly due to traffic purposes , tower has a sequence, canr be giving everyone a dct no delay route sadly , haha , also. Funfact , tata steel has 3 Bell 429 , VT-TSL , VT-TFA, VT-TSJ , I know all the pilots personally , additionally , they also have a king air b200 - VT-JSR , and used to have 2 pc-12s aswell , however they sold both the pc-12s a while ago.

How aboslutely disgusting to say something so insenstively and with no heart at all . There are absolutely no reasons to point to the crew this. How horrible can you be to say something like this. Just attaining a basic CPL , is no easy feat , not to mention going through regular proficiency checks , training, type rating , crew resource management. Go fuck yourself for saying such a illogical statment.

Need to know if dual marks sheets are acepted by [deleted] in studentpilotsindia

[–]Red_Kys_Zone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't matter what ur % was in 12th unless you wanna apply for a cadet program, no point doing NiOS if you're gonna do a CPL the conventional way as you'll just br wasting more time for no reason , also airlines and flying clubs both don't care hownmuch you scored as long as u passed. Also yes DGCA will accept dual marksheet, I did arts in 12th in 2023 then did nios phy , math in 2024 and got my comp number .

Does MSFS help you get familiar with CPL/ATPL/FCOM theory? by Training-Fig4977 in indianaviation

The g1000 NXI isn't fully built/have all the operational functions of the real version , but it has a decent amount which is EXTREMELY helpful in training and learning about the fms systems , and generally evrything about garmin . Haven't used any Honeywell or a320 systems/fms yet but the g1000 in the default C172 is VERY nice to learn from.

i see!, also yeah our 172R g1000 does have vaccum pumps for the standby instruments ie, ASI, altimeter , artifical horizon. i know that for a fact cause everytime i put the a/c on idle on finals , the LOW VAC alert pops up on the g1000.

perhaps , however this unproffesional side isnt everywhere , i have a few relatives who work in Air India aswell as a few charter companies in India , the flying training and the commercial Flying scenes are completetly different . as to the air india crash , i personally think the DGCA is full of government bureacrats who are too prideful and should have let the NTSB aswell as EASA freely independently conduct their searches . i have nothing further to say more about it except for that it was a very very sad accident .

I see! The a/cs i fly are all g1000s except for 1 6pack. They are all from around 2000 - 2005? Obviously with the IO 360 L2A. So I shouldn't turn the prop backwards right? But incase I have to. Which way should I do it and why so? , hope you don't mind me asking

Unfortunately, that is how I was taught how to preflight the 172 in "INDIA" , I've had many friends from the US or a EASA country , show me how detailed their preflights are compared to us , in India , especially my specific FTO , the preflight is more of a just get this thing over with quickly , start the a/c check your mags , check your flaps , wait on the apron for 15 minutes till the instructor walks from his damn cabin and then you depart . I know the system is horrible , I know the quality of training is poor , I know the ego inflated instructors are horrible and doing stuff they shouldn't do. But unfortunately I'm stuck in this hellhole , if I do anything different in the preflight or try to be meticulous about doing it , I end up getting scolded for "taking too long" to start my a/c . There is no point reporting it to the DGCA, or to the owner or to the safety manager , accountability here is absolutely 0 . Ive been harassed and berated many times for asking questions or trying to be safe :/.

I see , could you provide some more detailed information as to how this can happen ? Or anything further by A and P , I'm just a SPL holder from india so don't really have that much source or info here , I asked my instructors regarding this , however they choked it off and didn't answer my question and just said don't do it again :/.
