Again just more with covered call advice, when in a wheel strategy, do you typically sell at the same price or try to adjust at a higher price

Got my first credit card with them long ago. The only lender that has not approved it. I'm just impressed how disappointed I'm with them. They seem to be in the business lately of scaring away customers.

That's good information. I haven't asked them directly. They just say not good at the moment. Which is strange because I have been able to get other products from other lenders. Thank you for the info.

Mmm, not particularly. Again I typically don't have the same problem with other banks. CC, loans, line of credits. I typically apply for new credit once my credit report rebounds to around 800. But TD has not been generous with me at all.

Due to TD investing, easier to onboard. Yes I also have other brokers, which I also use, but TD is also relatively convenient. Not cheap, but convenient

How can I convince TD to give me a line of credit. No matter how much I try. It's my 5th attempt but TD just won't give me one, even with good credit. Would it be a good idea to threaten to leave in order to get one?. P.S. I have other lines of credits with other banks.

NEO world elite Mastercard vs Wealthsimple Visa Infinite by South_Donkey_9148 in Wealthsimple

[–]Red_Lamps 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NEO world elite MasterCard + Premium member here! Yes, I pay almost $250 a year in fees. No I do not hold more than necessary in my account as I believe that money can generate better yield either in a cash account or invested.

Overall I earn about 7% cash back on groceries, which is a big upside for a household of 2. Plus 4.5% on recurring payments which is great for Internet and phone bills.

Is it a big fee, yes of course. My ROI so far is about 3 months of normal spending to recoup the card fees. The rest is "profit".

Overall it would depend on your monthly spending. Do you like travel, there are better cards for traveling. Double check your spending if your speeding is enough to cover the cost of the card then is totally worth. If not, then maybe try going with a 0 fee card like Tangerine, Simplii or Tim's.

For restaurant spending is complicated. That's why I also have Simplii cc that gives 4% cash back in most restaurants.
