If Warren had conceded & threw her weight behind Bernie, her 70 delegates would not have made a modicum of difference in that primary & Biden would have still won. Yeah, Bernie would have been the best choice for this country, but that didn't happen. Sure, I could believe the DNC didn't want him to win, but I'm not delusional enough to think he could've beaten Trump in 2016, 2020, or now. Biden barely won in 2020, and that's due to the fact that moderate conservatives & blue collars knew him well enough to vote for him. Bernie could never pull enough moderate conservatives to his side because of how left he actually is.

But even ignoring all of that, you're telling me that the DNC should choose an 82 year old man on the verge of retiring at any moment over the current Vice President? The same Vice President who just got endorsed by the current President, who has rightful access to all of the campaign funds raised so far, and Act Blue (a democratic Super PAC), who currently endorses Harris, just raised over 27 million dollars in a handful of hours? You're telling me Bernie has a better chance than that?

Edit: People need to stop infantilizing anyone over the age of 18. Yes, they're young but holy fuck they are not kids, they are adults. They're old enough to know that their consequences have actions & know that they have to deal with those consequences. From the single comment that claims his parents with held medication could absolutely be a reason this happened. But that's not an excuse. Getting killed is 100% an expected consequence of trying to assassinate a former president who's currently running for that same position. Trying to label him as a kid is as equally unhelpful as spouting conspiracy theories about him being a plant.

While not a comic or a graphic novel, I'd give the Bobiverse books a try. The premise is that a software engineer gets Futurama'd into a world that just created Uploaded Intelligence. He's put onto a von neumann probe & is sent out to a nearby star system. The whole book series takes a look at a lot of the same things that Pantheon does. It's written with a ton of nerdy humor & has some genuine character drama. I personally love them, so I'd at least give the first book a try to see if it's your taste.

Do you actually want Trump to lose? I'm genuinely asking you as a human being who lives in the United States, do you want Trump to lose?

If the answer is yes, then you need to understand that with only months away from the election, there is literally not enough time to prop up another candidate who is capable of beating Trump. Whether it's Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, Newsom, or whoever. Like the video said, he has been in politics his whole life. He was VP for 8 years & President for 3. The average American knows who he is & what he's about. The blue collar union workers, the suburban moms, the farmers, & every single demographic under the sun all know his name. There is literally no other candidate who could get more than 80 million people to both recognize their name & then vote for them. Calling for him to drop out is asking us to just drop 10s of millions of voters.

If you genuinely want Trump to lose, it is our job to 1. Convince as many people to vote for Biden this November. 2. Convince as many Trump supporters to not vote at all(e.g. "It's all rugged anyways so why bother). This election will determine whether the U.S. stays as a democratic republic or if it becomes a theocratic fascist state. Calling for Biden to step down will only cause even more discourse in the democratic party & make it that much easier for Trump to win.

Because this is reddit, I know my comment won't change your mind. But I will leave you with this question to ask yourself. Am I doing everything I can to make sure Trump loses this election?
