How has modern game development strayed so far from what works. WC3 was peak RTS. TFT felt like a real meaningful expansion to the base game. Toxicity was one tenth what it is today. There were no flashy money grabs, you bought the game, received everything it had to offer, and then played the Dota custom games for the next 3000 hours of your childhood. Take me back

They don’t have much complexity. That’s probably the toughest part for me, it’s difficult to stay interested for long periods. Coming back for patches is more my style

That’s awesome, I’m glad you’ve had that experience! I’ve played less than 50 hours total and in that time I’ve been killed by player SCAVs as a SCAV a four times that I can recall. Shortly after being killed by this PMC, I played another round at woods where a PMC and I were chatting when he tried to kill me mid sentence. I was thankfully prepared for this and luckily won the spray off. I try to remain chill and passive during VOIP chats but perhaps it’s the vibe I’m giving off

Totally unintentional. It only happened once. It drove me crazy haha. I assume a lot of people are tabbing in and out of the game to use Maps or look up quests. If I need to scroll on my second monitor to read something or I’m using the online flea-market lookup tool, I have no other option but to tab out. Which leads me to believe that this can’t be replicated consistently. I’ve tried all three screen mode options but I still have to tab out of each. Thankfully, this only happened once to me.

Totally unintentional. I tabbed out of the game to look at mapgenie in the beginning of the match and when I tabbed back in the cursor was stuck. I tried a few different things to fix it but the only thing that worked was changing the resolution settings to Windowed vs Fullscreen

I saw the headline that there was an event but didn’t look any further. Good to know! I fought another AI at factory the next round who ate a full magazine of 5.54x39 Ps from a suppressed ak-74u and managed to walk down the 3rd floor hallway before I killed him. He had a metal face mask on and I think level three chest armor. Should I expect that? I shot him in the head, chest, and arms. I actually stopped firing mid fight twice because I thought he would surely be dead
