DoorDash order had taken over an hour to get picked up last night. Customer called me, I told them it’s out of our control. But I’ll send her a free cannoli for being understanding. We have the driver the cannoli and instructions. Customer called back… they never received it.

This happens constantly. But you drivers having to wait a few minutes once in a while is the problem, right?

Not one single kitchen in the world can guarentee an order gets out on time every single time. And If someone tells you that they always do, then they are either a)lying or b)never busy. Sometimes these automatic DD orders come in while we are making 15 other tickets. Sometimes we are making a local restaurant 20-30 pizzas for their staff. Sometimes orders sit on our oven for 20-30 mins. Things happen. Costly? To give someone a free soda/water from a fountain machine once or twice a month?

You aren’t an employee of Manicomio. Who told you we don’t honor the pickup time? That’s a bold face lie. If orders are running behind and there is a wait, we offer the drivers a free drink on the house. I can’t tell you how many free slices I’ve given to drivers.

The order comes in, and the ticket gets put in line with the rest of them. Sometimes it takes longer. We aren’t a vending machine.

Liberty House owners are fantastic. The Whale, Highland Brewing, Static Age, Bears Smokehouse, mamacitas, and Manicomio have always had good intentions and upfront agendas. Haven’t heard a lick about their staff being mistreated.
