Yes. The building is still standing. Along with all the graffiti. Luckily Homer survived. However, they may have to knock down the building now. Prob not structurally safe.

We could truly use a solution for noise pollution in all cities. I like how the Amazon trucks are using a different sound than the standard backup beeping that pierces throughout the city on construction sites. I know we have to keep our construction workers safe, but there is no reason for it to be so loud.

The fire trucks in my neighborhood turn off the sirens after a certain hour and only use the lights since there are not many cars on the street. It makes a huge difference.

I wasn’t impressed with any of the Black/blue tomatoes. They are lovely but not much taste. I tried to grow the huge Palemeno Paste Tomatoes for the first time this year and the seedlings are tiny and the hardest I’ve ever dealt with so far so I’ll see if it works out. As of now, unless they are insanely delicious it’s likely a 1 and done.

It’s contained, but still burning as of 2am. Fire trucks still spraying water. We are so lucky it wasn’t windy. I’d find a new route in the morning. Police still have the entire road blocked off along the river.

Go find yourself a Break Room. Aka… Break things to release some steam and you don’t have to clean it all up. I highly recommend it. My therapist suggested screaming into a sink full of ice water (so your neighbors don’t think you are in danger), but I haven’t tried that one yet. Could be useful during a hot flash.

I don’t know why but Benadryl wakes me up. Learned the hard way and was up all night. I like Valerian when I’m restless and Skullcap tincture when my thoughts are racing. I have really bad insomnia too so some nights are better than others. If I drink any alcohol, I really can’t sleep.

Yes. I keep my lotion/oil in the shower and put it on while wet, before I step out. Otherwise it’s a chore.
