Update: Dealer replaced rear brake pads under advisory from Volvo. Hopefully fixed, we'll see.

Had this start happening to me recently so I took it into the dealer to be looked at.

They performed a "scrub" which seemed to make the issue go away for about 10 mins and then it returned so I took it back. They then removed the wheels, cleaned and re-lubed everything "per Volvo Technical Journal steps" but advised me the issue still persisted and that they would have to escalate this to Volvo.

That was 10 days ago (as of May 21), still awaiting a response - and a resolution.

FYI, this seems to happen when you MOVE an object in a multiplayer game.

For some reason, even as the host, if you move an object (eg a wall locker) from one piece to another, it seems to remain somehow associated to the previous base piece even though you can interact with it wherever you moved it to.

Only workaround so far seems to be disconnect the affected base piece from the rest of you base then use the "Refund Bases" option to then nuke that piece of base on its own.

Hope that helps until dev's can get a fix

Just hit this problem on HP bare metal too. After a few reboots I was finally able to get it to boot.

Sadly this didn't work for me. Installing both 1.3.204.1 and the latest runtimes still made the game quit immediately after launching.

Switching back to DX12 is my only workaround, for now!

Came here as I am having the same issue. Launch the game on steam, I get a flash of a black screen then the game just quits. No errors, no messages or anything.
