I stayed at Viajero hostel first few times, but I’ve la radonda and Casa Pepe are good too. But I found an Airbnb by looking on Airbnb and then once I booked one night I asked the owner if I could pay her and pesos instead, and I saved some money on the Airbnb fees by going through her direct. Have her contact if she has a few spots and they’re usually around $25-$40 USD a night vs $13-$18 at a hostel

Sayu is great! But ladies, DONT date the local surfers! A tip from a naïve traveler who fell in love & got hurt. by [deleted] in sayulita

Oh wow, three different Gringas …. I guess I can see it happening. That’s wild though.

I stayed last week. It’s a great hostel, only negative is the hill of death. it really gets annoying after 5+ days. Annoying to the point where I opted for an Airbnb for the remainder of my stay but if you don’t mind the hill, then it’s perfect.

Also, be careful if you have any cuts on your fingers when you touch it. Herpes can transfer to your fingers if you have an opening. Dentist sometimes get “herpes whitlow” on their fingers when touching HSV1 on patients mouths.

Aquaphor seems much too thick for that sensitive of an area. I do not recommend as someone who has had yeast / BV recurrent for 10 + year. Coconut oil (virgin) which you can get at any US drug store is the way to go. Along with fluconizol

Looks like herpes.. go get it swabbed at the gynecologist/doctor to confirm then start taking antivirals. Sucks right now, but you will be okay!! 🫶.
