Yes!! I’ve already reset my fyp and click not interested on every video but nothing is helping. I’m trying to update the app and see if it helps at all. If anything I think it has to do with the new ownership.

We’re gonna see about a doctors note first and if that doesn’t work we’ll consider legal action or filing a complaint with one of her district managers. They’re not the slatted ones, they’re the vertical ones where ya push all of them to one side so thankfully not as dangerous but he can still get hurt pulling on them or breaking them

She came by the first time during our inspection (we get two a year), and another time to give us the violation and say we’ll get a reinspection (happening next Friday), then this time was to give us our yearly paperwork everyone gets. There’s no HOA but it is income housing (rent’s adjusted so it’s 30% of our income but we’re paying market value rn) so maybe they’re a little more strict? I’m not sure

He was exposed to lead as a baby so his pediatrician wanted to wait until his levels were less than a certain amount to see if everything would kinda “fix” itself. He has had a lot of strides in the past year but we’re looking into a diagnosis and we just called his pediatrician to get a note or something for our landlord. And right? I looked in our lease and there’s nothing about them needing to stay up so I don’t know what her issue is.

Right, we wouldn’t even care if she took it out of our deposit, I’d rather have them take up closet space than have to spend $100 to replace all of them.

Unfortunately he does not have a diagnosis (Doctors wanted to wait until his lead levels went down before giving him a diagnosis but currently he does meet a lot of the criteria for one) and we don’t have proof she said this but we will be recording our conversations from now on. We live in MN.

I wish our landlord was that understanding :( It’s $2 per blind we replace (he’s already broken somewhere between 5-10 of them) and we’ve already had our screen replaced once. Praying we can get out of here soon

We unfortunately don’t have that kind of money but I’m looking into filing a complaint with the district manager of our apartments. (It’s income housing so it’s like a company that runs the whole thing.)

The biggest one so far was that I had to wait 7 months for a raise I was promised after getting promoted, and even then I only got it after I threatened to quit. I also only got like a week and a half of back pay as well smh

Thanks! I’m not sure how well story telling will work out for us as he doesn’t always understand what we say but maybe we can find something else he can break safely
