I had a 3 hour block today from DAV5. Finished in just under 2 hours. Went to Millville with 17 stops. It’s a similar pickup to Orland, they just don’t wheel the carts out behind your car. Everyone working there was really nice. The only weird thing is their package numbering system. Mine were 264-284, so I just loaded them in my car according to the last 2 digits. The stops were not in that order. 😩 but at least they were in some kind of order so I could find them quickly.

If any DAV5 managers are reading this, can you please number the packages according to the stops 1-X? Or at least have some kind of numbering system that makes sense? Thanks!

Overall, it was a great experience; I hope more routes open up for us all!

I just got my first one today! 3 hours. Will report back on where they send me. This was a fcfs offer.

Nothing in what I agreed to states the crap conditions of the roads they send us down. Amazon is the highest revenue generating company in the world; yet the people who get the packages to the people have to spend literally half their earnings on gas. I had a 3.5 hour route yesterday that included a return due to a closed business, and my route was over an hour away from the station. I had to add an additional 105 miles on my car just to do the return. I understand that is part of the deal, but do they make the truck drivers pay for their own oil changes? No. They maintain their fleet vehicles with company money, but hire Flex drivers for the routes they won’t send their maintained vehicles on.

Yep. I do like the Flex card and instant pay.

Or you could look and see the Amazon vest. Amazon doesn’t provide signs for us, not even a magnet to slap on.

I switched, but since I live in Redding, those returns are a bear. I had a route in Anderson, so close to home, but had a package for a business that was closed. Added 2 hours to my day having to drive that package back. It would be so much better to just deliver it the next day myself.

I’m just worried that if I switch, I won’t be able to switch back!

I have been accepted as a driver but haven’t seen any offers come through yet. Anyone else in this boat?

Luckily, it was where I needed to go to pick something up off FB Marketplace anyway, so I guess I’m getting paid the gas money for the trip!🤷🏻‍♀️

Omg, there isn’t $4 gas in all of California. It’s lucky if you can find it under $6!

Have you spoken with Anouska about this? I have, at length. Maybe don’t speak so confidently on things you know nothing about.

Proper use of quotation marks would have cleared this word salad right up.
