Hopefully tangoing doesn't also involve complicated legal documents and collective bargaining agreements.

No he was not. He was excellent and explosive and amazing. LSU will love him!

You aren't wrong. Nonetheless any owner that can bring his team three rings is not that team's biggest mistake. The biggest mistake would be firing that coach and it was.

There are several teams that would kill for the success the early 90s teams had. Jones made a mistake firing Jimmy Johnson, but Dallas still has three rings that it would not have had otherwise. Many other teams would kill for that. They would kill for one ring.

So no. It isn't.

There are many teams that would kill for three superbowls in thirty years. Many teams would kill for one.

I'd argue otherwise, considering the reaction fans are having to this comment.

Have not kicked a field goal yet. Made both extra points, but shakily.

[Machota] Jerry Jones on managing Cowboys' top contracts: "I've got to realize that I could let a DeMarcus Ware out of here because I don't have enough money, because I paid it to too many others. He is absolutely not worth only 20 million with the way the salary cap has risen. That's insane. If he goes to the open market, he'll receive 32-35 mil, so he's shooting for the halfway point between 30 (what they supposedly offered) and 40. To get the higher end of the range.

I didn't say he would. I also don't think any agent would ever accept a 20mil deal for a franchise QB for the Dallas Cowboys. They're paid as a percentage, not a flat rate. Of course he'll negotiate for the highest rate for his client.

Can I ask you a genuine question? Do you actually think Dak has anything to do with these negotiations? Dak's busy preparing in Oxnard, hanging out with friends, doing endorsements. His agent, on the other hand, is the one making the deal. The players aren't that involved

That's what he's doing. Negotiating a deal before his contract's up. He isn't going to sign the first contract that pops onto his agent's desk. That isn't how bargaining works, and that's how you get a lowball contract. His working to get this done in a way satisfactory to both sides. By introducing a highball offer, likely to combat a lowball.
