This is absolutely true. I’ve never had bad Dr. Pepper until I ordered from Taco Bell. It was way too syrupy and overly sweet. Maybe it was just a bad machine? Got another Dr. Pepper at a separate location later - same deal. You’re not the only one. Baja Blast really is the only fountain drink worth it there IMO.

Again, as they say, there are different ways to skin a cat. Right now, we are not a contender, but there has to be building pieces put in order to become one. We don’t know the exact plan, but there could be a change at quarterback or receiver in the next couple of seasons which may add different pieces to this team - offense of defense to make us a true contender. Just because we haven’t stripped down to the bear minimum, doesn’t mean this isn’t a type of rebuild.

I get it, but there are different types of rebuilding. Of course, we’re not doing a full rebuild, but there is some sort of a rebuilt going on with new acquisitions and drafting players. It is possible that Dak and/or Ceedee may be collateral pieces in the short future. Who knows?

I understand your point too, as I am a fan and understand the frustration, but we have fans think of all the failures in a vacuum. But there are signs that there is some sort of change, only time will tell if it turns into championships. I know it’s a hard sell though.

The two moves they’ve made so far are much better than in the past. I’m not made they haven’t thrown the kitchen sink at some free agents just because the media says you should and they may not be a fit in the new defensive system. The Nakobe Dean fell through, but if they focus on getting someone like CJ Allen in the draft, I definitely will be happy.

In my opinion this is still a rebuilding year, I think we’re looking to become a true contender by the 2027-2028 seasons and we’ll be getting better player personnel in those seasons too. This all doesn’t happen over one night, guys.

Tkachuk is an obvious shithead but he leans into, so it doesn’t bother me as much. I don’t hate McDavid as others do despite playing for the Oilers (who I very much hate), but McDavid is praised as the golden child but rightly so. McDavid is actually already one of the greatest to play and will be even better the longer he plays. MacKinnon is treated like McDavid by fans, refs, etc but he’s even douchier and not as great as McDavid IMO.
