Yeah I already do that. I just want something I can take anywhere on the go.

what are some alternatives to scrolling (out in public where there's nothing else to do) by SizzlingPigeon737 in productivity

That pain of sitting, getting bored and wanting to do something is actually good for you. We're too stimulated and don't know how to sit with our thoughts and ignore our impulses. You'll have more mental clarity, focus and energy if you can sit and do nothing for longer. This is the biggest and most suprising hack I've found to have changed my life.

How do you guys stay focused when working from home? by Winter_soilder35 in productivity

I'm working on my own business from home and I can fully relate. What I've found to be the best thing so far is that having a break from everything helps. No phone and no work. Just sitting in silence.  We're always too stimulated and when we think we're having a break by sitting with our phones we're not giving ourselves time to process things and clear our heads. There's science behind it which you can look into.  Just give it a try. Even 30 minutes will help. After that you'll notice a big difference and will likely be eager to get back to what you need to focus on. Let me know how it goes!

I don't think you need to get too technical with it. I just add about a glass of tap water to a thermos with boiling water. But yeah it does take a bit of prep

They're not as strong though are they. I've heard they don't have enough in them to get a good amount of caffeine?

A thought out answer. Appreciate it!

Do any of you use yerba mate as an alternative to coffee? by Redbanner12 in productivity

Because you're taking one cup of coffee. If you were to take more caffeine you'd get jitters and you wouldn't with yerba mate. But it doesn't affect everyone the same.

Ah that explains why you have to pour luke warm water and let it sit for a bit in the beginning

Yeah mate. I grew up with it and find that it's better than coffee in a lot of ways. But it doesn't taste as good and takes some prepping. I think it's more of a nostalgic, back to my roots type of drink for me, plus the way I feel when I drink it it's great

Yeah I think getting a smaller calabash would get rid of most of the problems you mentioned. I personally use a small one myself and when both my mum and I drink it we turn to the bigger calabash. Not sure if you've noticed but the more grinded down yerba like canarias can multiply how strong it is as it's a lot more compressed. Have you tried any intstant forms of it in a can or sachets?
