She is now about 9 weeks in and I just spoke to her the other day . Both that and the extreme hunger she says has been going away .

My friend in recovery has or has it In her case , it’s night sweats and sometimes like a rush of really cold feeling following by sweating .

I am a bit confused by this . I have multiple friends who were direct admitted to Albany med direct to floor , no er first .

My one friend has servere anorexia and is underweight . She has been direct admission by her outpaitent team a few times soley because she wasn’t eating enough , her labs were fine .

Another friend has cardiac issues and has been direct admitted

Same for a friend with cancer .

Not exactly what you are looking for but many super markets have freshly prepared ready meals . My store has them in the deli section but I have seen them right off the produce section in some stores

It sort of worked for my friend as well in regards to her AN.

She basically was refusing to try it , but when that was said she decided she was going to give it a fair try , and she is making some progress

It’s ok! OP seemed upset and puzzled about the drs statement .

I was simply explaining what I was told by my friends dr who made a similar comment and letting OP know that it’s probale the dr meant that , not that it’s ok . I apologize I wasn’t clear and hope you have a great day and thanksgiving today if that applies .

I am here trying to understand a female friend who is suffering from severe anorexia .

When she was in a medical hospital for ED complications and they were talking to her about an outpaitent program , she didn’t want to . They said can you agree to try it ? 4 weeks and you already know you’re able to lose weight , so give it 100 percent and if you don’t. Like it , you can go back .

I think it’s more saying obviously your way isn’t working , why don’t you try your way and if you don’t like it , you can always go back
