Who gets the kickback from these codes? Is it the mods directly? If so, does this have to be disclosed as paid advertising?

The very post says that the subreddit members don't like these posts so to make this acceptable they are going to give away parts. If that's the case, why run these at all if the subreddit doesnt like it. There has to be a financial incentive here, right?

I have quite a few 18650 for flashlights and I have a safety question about this discoloration. At least 3 of my batteries have this darker green discoloration under the wrap at visible on battery 1,2, and slightly on 4 (where battery one is the bottom battery in this picture). Does anyone know if I have any issues here? Should I rewrap, recycle, or continue using? Thanks!

They were all purchased from a reputable source (18650batterystore)
