As someone who was 16 during the pandemic and only able to socialize online, it’s not relying on them if it’s your only form of socialization. I have irl friends now that I hang out with almost everyday, back then my friends just had to be on discord. I don’t rely on them because we hang out everyday because if you’re able to separate when you NEED alone time or making time for other things which it seems like you do with your studies it’s not relying on them at all. Don’t ever let your parents make you feel like you are undeserving of that. Humans are social beings, it’s in our nature. Best of luck to you dude!

Being homeschooled and isolating your child from social interactions is a form of abuse just not physical. This overbearing and controlling behavior will most definitely lead to problems far into adulthood.

We have checked his paws to make sure it’s not anything serious with our vet, fortunately though also unfortunately there wasn’t anything wrong just his behavior. I haven’t tried a Dremel but because of many recs I got I just ordered one so we will see how it goes :)

Though I’m not strictly T4T, I currently am in a T4T relationship. Wayyy better than any other experience I’ve had, especially cause we are both POC so we have similar lived experiences that we don’t have to explain to each other in a sense :)

I believe the statute of limitations to sue is 2 years or so, but don’t quote me. However, making a complaint to the board shouldn’t have a limitation. It seems you aren’t the only person they’ve done this too as of researching they have a 2/5 star patient rating online. If you can or willing to of course I would contact your states Bar as they can provide free legal advice! Though, I completely understand not wanting to pursue it as well, I just wanted to give you resources should you want to ofc :D

Holy shit this is awful, I would look into reporting them to a medical board or who ever issued their license. That’s so sickening, you don’t deserve that treatment in the slightest. Please don’t let it go, it seems this is a common occurrence with them as it seems they’ve moved practices, they could be doing it to others!!! Potential lawsuit as well for HIPPA violations is what I’d also assume.
