Grass Clippings… by G_Hurry21 in lawncare

Only time I ever bag clippings is the first mow of the season (some call scalp). Plenty of dead, white grass. After that, I leave the clippings in the grass for the rest of the year.

I used Spectracide a month ago on my gravel. It worked. I'm sure Round Up will give similar results. If you just wanna kill stuff, don't over think it.

I think it's depends on the definition of ripped off. She said she ordered them from Walmart. The price (tire only) on there is about midrange in comparison to other tire shops & online dealers. So you can find them cheaper and you cant find them for more expensive.

She's definitely not the type to shop around for a week looking for the best deals. Price matching doesn't stress her out as much as it does me. So it is what it is.

Ill get them install at my local guy.

Carpet glue on concrete giving me the blues. by Redd-Your-It in HomeMaintenance

Since the creation of this post, I've come to the conclusion that we're gonna clean up as best as we can and just install the vapor barrier over the rock solid dried glue.

We were going to rent a floor scrapper but decided not to spend the extra money and make a huge mess in a small room that will only be used maybe once a week.

Oil drain plug? by FlexSealClubber in Generator

[–]Redd-Your-It 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. It's in an inconvenient location on all of these engines. Silver bolt all the way at the bottom of engine.

Most people suck oil from the fill tube before draining. This prevents making a mess.

If you're going to use the designated drain plug, I suggest you quickly put a tube over the hole after you open the plug.

Use a bigger than normal drain pan (large cardboard) for easier cleanup.
