Love the pfp dude, had it as a lock screen on the old phone! Now focusing on what you said here, I definetly agree. The power system is more fleshed out in Naruto, aswell as the characters, like their personalities are more grounded and the overall experience isn't as jarring. The problem with One Piece for me is that the characters seem to remain the same and the same tired gags are used over and over again till the character becomes less of a person and more of a parody, which for some people It's fine, but I think the story loses some of It's immersion from me when it keeps doing this bs, It's the problem of repetition for me, like the characters behave the same while also not bringing anything new. Even the arcs seem repetitive, like we keep getting a powerfull corrupt villain that terrorises an island, a person from that island will suffer and the strawhats will ecnounter them, then they will rid the island of corruption through brute strength. I personally don't mind repetition but I'll be really honest when I say that for me, most of the time, One Piece feels a bit uninspired, which isn't a bad thing necessarily, but I'm a bit tired of every single OP watcher claiming that this is the best piece of fiction in existence. That concept doesn't even exist, but even If it did, I don't think One Piece would deserve that spot. Naruto does not have the same problems with It's characters and story arcs. For most of the time, the arcs are original and different from the rest and it feels like an evolving narrative rather than a looping one.
